M.S. in Wildlife, Aquatic and Wildlands Science and Management

Madison grew up in Portland, Texas and received her B.S. in Animal Science with a Wildlife Management minor at Sam Houston State University in December of 2022. During her time at Sam Houston, she worked closely with livestock and exotic game animals. Madison completed an internship at 3-S Texas Outdoors where she gained experience bottle feeding fawns, drawing blood, performing artificial insemination in fallow, white-tail, and axis deer. Since graduation, she has worked for T&T Gamebirds, raising and working with quail, chukar, and pheasants. She is interested in breeder productivity, and her current research focuses on neonicotinoid effects on pheasant physiology. After completing her masters, Madison hopes to continue her career in gamebird and large exotic breeding and genetics.
