Meghan grew up in Lubbock, TX and received her B.S. of Natural Resources Management at Texas Tech University in December 2018. She worked as a field technician in Fort Stanton, NM researching avian community response to prescribed fire in Pinyon/Juniper habitat before enrolling at graduate school at Texas Tech. Her research interests include avian ecology and conservation. She is currently working as a woodland ecologist at Texas A&M Forest Service. In her free time, Meghan enjoys being a quail mom, though she claims they only tolerate her. She can be identified in the wild by her colorful nail choices.
