Wolf ecology in South Central Alaska
Seth grew up on the outskirts of Gillette, Wyoming, where his formative years fostered a fascination with wildlife. He initially started at Texas Tech University as an English major with the intent to become a writer for National Geographic to share his love of nature with others. He switched to the Natural Resources Management Department after taking a keen interest in research, and joined the TCC by completing a project examining gastrointestinal parasite loads in large game species in the Trans-Pecos ecoregion of Texas, where he investigated parasitism in mule deer, desert bighorn, and aoudad within Big Bend Ranch State Park. Seth also helped with many other graduate students’ work while attending TTU. He has now joined the TCC as an M.S. graduate student, studying wolf ecology in Alaska.
